Since 2021, 1st & Main has been working with Allendale County, SC on redeveloping the vacant and historic CV Bing School into the Allendale Community Center. The Community Center will become the new home for Parks & Recreation, provide permanent space for Clemson University, provide a new/enlarged home for First Steps of Allendale County, create a business innovation center, offer extensive event space for the community, provide needed healthcare services, and offer the County's first community pool and splash pad.

As development consultant, 1st & Main is overseeing all pre-development due diligence for the project, including design, environmental assessments, stakeholder and community engagement, and tax credit approval processes. The project will utilize historic tax credits, SC abandoned building tax credits, and new market tax credits.
